Tufting- An Art
Our rugs are not made by large machines like numerous large blanket and rug makers. We believe in the Hand-Made process. They are made affectionately by hand, with every carpet taking days and at times, few months to finish. Here is the procedure of our stunning art.
Selecting the Raw Material
The process of making the rug is initiated with choosing Raw Material, which is sourced from different places. The most premium wool is sourced from New Zealand known as New Zealand Wool and some other popular wool used are Silk, viscose, Indian Blended wool and so much more.

Dying the wool according to the design
In the Designing process, weavers make their design or customize design as per the client requirement.
Then the wool can be dyed either by synthetic dyes or natural dyes. Natural dyes are similar as vegetable dyes without the utilization of any synthetics and it’s not as ideal and bright shade as synthetic ones however have smooth texture and effect on the rug. Synthetic dye have bright colours with numerous shades.

After this, the wool is rolled into a ball so material comes out smoothly at the time of tufting.

Tufting
Then the rug is made by punching threads of wool into a canvas that is stretched on a frame by using a hand-operated tufting gun. The rug is made from Premium Lustrous Wool with a backing of cotton cloth to make it highly durable. Made in India, this rug can last for 15-20 years without a problem.

Gluing and Backing
After the weaving is complete, rug is sent for gluing to solidify the loops and then it is backed with a cotton cloth for extra protection and finishing.

Finishing
The rug ought to be trimmed from front side to remove unwanted yarn. The rug is levelling and finishing is given between the lines in the design my manually cutting it with scissors. After vacuum cleaning, it is packed by using packing material for the shipping process.
